Marina wants her perfect school to be a brightly decorated building, where children can study any subject they like. Teachers treat their student like individuals. And students are allowed to talk about their problems and to come to school whenever they want. She thinks that the rules in the school should be democratic. She also thinks that it would be nice to have a school newspaper and school radio.
Alfred thinks that school should start at 11 o’clock. He wanted teachers to understand students’ problems and to listen to the students’ ideas. He doesn’t want to have special school uniform and special haircut. He wanted breaks to be longer. He thinks that there shouldn’t be boring subjects in school, only subjects that children really enjoy must be tought. And children shouldn’t worry about tests and marks.
George thinks that perfect school is much like the school he studies in. But he thinks that teachers and students should respect each other. He wants discipline to be quite strict but punishment shouldn’t be very severe. He thinks that some subjects should be studied only by students who are interested in them. He is sure that school should still be compulsory.
