After a short trip Sarah Sweet got to the forest. She was in the middle of the Wild Wood. She couldn’t find the road. Then she talked to an old tree. The tree tried to help her and told Sarah how to get to the castle. But the tree wasn’t very kind and it said it only once, so Sarah didn’t understand it. The tree told her to hurry up. But Sarah didn’t look sad, she didn’t cry. She went straight ahead. It was difficult because it was dark. Sarah went on foot because there were no buses in the forest. It took her six hours to get there. By the time she saw the Witch’s home it was already morning. Sarah went up to the castle, found the key, opened the door with the key and went in. «Come in», she heard a voice from upstairs. She went upstairs and she saw a large room. In the middle of the room there was a fire burning. In front of the fire there were two armchairs, and in one of them there was an ugly old witch. Her friendly black cat, Midnight, was in the other.
