Practising phrasal verbs (go)
•      Explain that each sentence can be completed
with a phrasal verb from Appendix 2.
•      Ss complete the task individually.
•      Check Ss' answers, eliciting the meaning of
each phrasal verb.
•      As an extension ask Ss to draw a picture for one
of the phrasal verbs.
•      Ss hold up their pictures and the class tries to
identify the phrasal verb.
