I want to live in a house in the country. I want to live in rather a small, but comfortable house. My house will be made of stone, but it will be very warm in my house. I want to live in a quiet place not far from Moscow.
There will be two floors in my house. There will be three rooms in my house: the hall, the sitting room and the bedroom.
The sitting-room will be downstairs, on the ground floor. It will be the largest room in my house. It’s difficult to describe the sitting-room, because
there will be much new furniture in it. I want to have a big and a very expensive fireplace opposite the door. There will be a big colour TV next to the
fireplace. There will be four armchairs in four comers of my sitting-room.
There will be a big table in the middle of the room. I’d like to put six chairs
round the table. I’m going to put a sofa in front of the TV. There will be a
bookcase at the sofa. There will be many coloured pictures of animals on the
walls. I will watch the stars or read books in my sitting-room.
I’m going to make a bedroom on the first floor. It will be above the sitting-
room. My bedroom will be rather large. When you come into my bed-
room, you’ll see a big window on the right. There will be bright lovely curtains on the window. I’d like to put a big wardrobe with many different
clothes on the left. I will keep my room clean so everything will be in or-
der in the wardrobe. There will be a big lamp opposite the door. I’m going
to put a wonderful coloured carpet in the middle of the room. There will
be a bed between the lamp and the carpet.
There will be stairs in the hall.
In my bathroom I’m going to put a mirror and a sink in front of the door.
There will be a blue carpet in the middle of the bathroom.
I’m going to put a cooker in the comer of my kitchen. I’d like to put a
fridge next-to the cooker. The sink will be between the cooker and the
fridge. I’m going to put a big table in the middle of the kitchen. There will
be six chairs round the table.
